Knockinaam Lodge stands in 30 acres of glorious gardens and woodland
with immaculate lawns running down to a private sandy beach. In
such a tranquil setting, Sir Winston Churchill met General Eisenhower
and their Chiefs of Staff during the Second World War.
Scotland’s south west coast is decked with some of the most
beautiful beaches in the UK. From endless stretches of golden sand
to fascinating little inlets and coves. Here at Knockinaam we have
our own magnificent private cove, making us quite unique and offering
our guests the remarkable seclusion which this provides, lovely
coastal walks, the warming effect of the gulf stream, and the Irish
Sea lapping up almost to our doorstep.
